“Cromwell House” Up For Sale
A house in Offord Cluny, Cambridgeshire, which Oliver Cromwell is said to have stayed at for maybe one or two nights is up for sale for £1.8million.
It is a picturesque Grade 2 listed building dating from 1600 and set in 15 acres of land, and the bedroom Cromwell stayed in was set up as a tourist attraction following his death in 1658.
It is only the second time the property has been available in 300 years!
It is not clear at this point is the ghost of Oliver Cromwell comes with the house. For more information and photos see here….
